Cancellation Policy
The cancellation of a confirmed booking entails the application of a penalty calculated on the total booking amount. The penalty varies based on the time between the cancellation and the check-in date:
- Up to 31 days before arrival: penalty of 10% of the total amount
- From 30 to 16 days before arrival: penalty of 25% of the total amount
- From 15 to 8 days before arrival: penalty of 50% of the total amount
- From 7 days to a few hours before arrival: penalty of 70% of the total amount
- No-show (failure to arrive without notice): penalty of 70% of the total amount
Tourist tax
We would like to inform you that the City of Syracuse requires the payment of a tourist tax for those who stay overnight in the city. Details of the tax:
- The amount of the tax is 4% of the cost of the overnight stay per person, up to a maximum of €5.00 per person per night.
- The tax applies for a maximum of 7 consecutive nights.
- Children under the age of 12 are exempt.
